We Were Here Tomorrow — Beginner Guide

Verified starting information for the two-player puzzle adventure.

Before you enter Norček Industries

We Were Here Tomorrow is a first-person cooperative puzzle adventure for two players. Each Explorer has a different perspective, role and tool. Communication through walkie-talkies is central to combining clues.

Prepare your microphone and a partner before beginning. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with crossplay supported.

Check your PC before starting

The Steam release lists Windows 11 and DirectX 12, with 25 GB of available storage. Its minimum hardware is a Ryzen 5 3600 or equivalent, 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 Ti with 6 GB or equivalent. The recommended tier uses a Ryzen 5 5600X or equivalent, 16 GB RAM and an RTX 3060 or equivalent.

Both players need an internet connection and a working microphone. The developer FAQ confirms public lobbies for finding a partner, while the co-op guide summarizes microphone and connection checks. These published requirements do not guarantee a particular frame rate or a complete first-room solution.

Start with the covered tool examples

The puzzle guide now includes documented cube placement, Hook handoffs and a cable-board route. Check that your room matches the example before following it. These sections provide targeted help rather than an assumed universal code or a complete story route.

Put your preparation into practice

Agree how you will describe rows, symbols and locations before trying a mechanism. Take turns with the radio so the other Explorer can answer. Use the cable and tool sections above when your current obstacle matches the described example.
